About Emma

Working in childcare for over 20 years Emma has kept up to date and adapted her practice to ensure that she is knowledgeable and well informed.

Being super organised in her work allows her to ensure that every child is included.  Watching her interact with the children and support them to develop and grow is always a delight as her calming and warm personality brings out the best in the children (and staff!).

Emma has patience on another level, which allows her to really understand the challenges faced by some children.  Using her (very) detailed observations Emma shares the information with the team so that we can really understand the emotion and feelings behind behavior to work with children and families to best support them.

Emma is also our Early Years Community Practitioner, working in the community delivering stay and play sessions, support families and offering networking and signposting to other services – a lovely way to spend a morning in our town!
